Mark Shipley - Operations Director

Mark followed his father’s footsteps into the printing industry as an apprentice typesetter in city and financial print, working on some of the UK’s biggest share offerings. He studied at Loughborough University gaining a Diploma in Management and since then he has spent 25 years gaining varied print and business management experience across all areas of print business, including Sales, Pre-press, Digital Printing, Finishing, IT and Customer Services and before joining Rose nearly ten years ago.

Favourite Calendar: I’m going to cheat and say two. "Ethos” for the wall – with its stunning images, clear dates and inspirational messages, and our "On the Move” desk calendar, with its selection of iconic vehicles from the history of road transport always has a place on my desk – practical and some great artwork of classic commercial vehicles.

Enjoys: Working on my classic Land Rover, motorcycling, training in Krav Maga and spending time with my family.

Dream Destination: Japan – with its amazing culture, technology, scenery and food – one of the most unique countries in the world.
